| Bio: | My name is Dr. Bogus, I currently reside and work in Murfreesboro, TN. I graduated from Fisk University with a B.A. in Biology in1998, and from Meharry Medical College with a M.D. in 2001. I trained at Harlem Hospital in New York City for 3 years, and was Chief Resident there for 1 year. I am currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and have been trained by Dr. T. Berry Brazelton on Touchpoints development training in Pediatrics. I have privileges at Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN; Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN; and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, TN. My office is located at 1818 Ward Drive in Murfreesboro, TN 37129, and my hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday 8:30a - 5p; and Tuesdays 11:30a - 6:30p.
I am married with one daughter, and participate in childbirth teaching classes in MTMC in Murfreesboro 1-2 times a year. My hobbies include watching football (big Chicago Bears and Tennessee Titans fan), playing chess, video games, and watching cartoons with my family. I work with Dr. Vani Veera, who was my preceptor while I rotated in Pediatrics in medical school. I tell her often that it's her fault I got into Pediatrics. I speak semi-fluent Spanish, and it helps that my wife is from Panama. I also know American Sign Language and some French. I have a passion for Sickle Cell Anemia, Asthma, HIV, and health disparities. I look forward to seeing you and your child in my clinic, or in the community. |
